Description
The FlawTech FPI/ET Practical Exam Specimens are designed to replicate “basic” aerospace geometries and include a mix of flaw types designed to be detected with Fluorescent Penetrant and Eddy Current inspection. If you have unique or specific specimen design requirements, please contact FlawTech for a custom specimen quote.
Material:
- Carbon Steel
- 12” L x 0.5” x 0.5”
Flaws:
- 3x randomly placed flaws per specimen.
- Flaws will consist of surface breaking Cracks and Pores.
Manufacturing Documentation:
- FlawTech can submit design drawings for customer review and approval if preferred
Final Documentation:
- Certificate of Conformance, Final Acceptance Inspection, “As Built” CAD drawing, Measuring & Test Equipment Certificates, and test sheets
