API RP-2X Specimens Kit:
- Material: 0.75″ T carbon steel plate
- Set of 3 Specimens:
- (1) 90° “T” Connection- 0.75″ (T) x 20″ (Weld Length) x 4″ x 8″ Leg
- (1) 45° “Y” Connection- 0.75″ (T) x 20″ (Weld Length) x 4″ x 8″ Leg
- (1) 60° “Y” Connection.- 0.75″ (T) x 20″ (Weld Length) x 4″ x 8″ Leg
Specimen Detail:
- Each specimen contains 4 flaws/ 12 total
- API Level “C” Criteria used for flaw design
- Accept/Reject based on API RP-2X, Fig. 45 & 48
- UT Specimens can be used for technician practice/testing for offshore structures
- Flaw acceptability is not determined by ultrasonics
- Documentation Package Includes: Certificate of Conformance, CAD Drawings, Measuring and Test Equipment Certificates, UT Inspection Reports and Test Sheets
- Weight: ~250LBS (Special shipping considerations apply due to weight)
